No definitive records have been found that might identify this man.
There was a George Robinson born Bramford in 1874. His family farmed Woodlands Farm Bramford in 1881 but by 1901 they are at Red House Farm, Copdock. In 1911 he is a farmer in his own right at Grove Farm, Capel St Mary. He is married to Alice. In 1939 he is farming at Bucklesham – listed as being born on 27th April 1873. However, he would have been 40 years old when war broke out so likely to have only served on the home front. However, his connection with the village seemed to be too remote to be included on the British Legion list.
